meet: Ceann Cherry, the DR.of blonding
@BLONDEBYCEANN
Hi, Fanola Babes!
Ceann is a talented Fanola Pro hairstylist residing in Tempe,
Arizona. She's kind, genuine, and is the go-to for girls who
want that perfect high-level blonde.
"Being a hairstylist has always been something more to me
than just doing hair. People are what motivate me, seeing the
light in your client’s eyes after you transform their hair and
give them a boost of confidence. I’ve always believed if you
feel good, you do good. If you could turn your passion into a
career, would you? Passion leads me to hair. The second I
began making people feel beautiful I knew it was my purpose."
get to know me
When did you know you wanted to become a hairstylist?
I knew I wanted to become a hairstylist when I realized I truly love the creative aspect of styling hair as well as making people feel beautiful. You have done big salons and small salons. How many people would you like to have working in your salon?
I prefer a smaller number no more than 3 people. This allows each person to build their own brand and become an independent stylist. Stylists no longer want to be represented by one person's brand because it limits their success. How did you turn yourself into such an Influential stylist?
My goal has always been to be an educator or a platform artist since I graduated beauty school. Instagram became the best way to showcase my work as well as help others become better stylists.Where do you get your inspiration from?
Most of my inspo comes from the latest trends and seasons and also a lot from other influential stylists. I love seeing how others create and putting my own twist on new techniques. If you could share one piece of advice for someone looking to follow in your footsteps, what would it be?
I would tell them not to give up. Always humble yourself and be willing to learn from the people who know more. Always be willing to learn a new skill.my fanola faves In the salon & at home
I knew the next step was to begin my own path, create my own
brand and identity. I now own my own salon called Blonde in
Tempe AZ. I am also fortunate enough to be a Fanola Pro and
continue to educate others on my biggest tips and tricks in the
industry. My level of passion and creativity just continue to
excel and I couldn’t feel more blessed and excited to see
what’s to come!

doctorate in blonding professional kit.
My goal with this kit is to give you the tools for creating successful icy blondes. Icy hair is one of the hardest things to achieve on most clients. The no yellow toners as well as the condition the bleach and treatments leave the hair will blow your mind as well as make your clients blonde dreams come true.
Fanola can forever change your client experience.

What comes in the kit
Oro Therapy bleach
Oro is the most moisturizing bleach from fanola so it makes it perfect for light blondes and bleach and tones. I mix this lightener to a creamy frosting texture when applying to foils and bleach and tone. If it’s mixed too thick it will dry out and quit processing so consistently is key.No Yellow 8, 9, and 10 Ice
I always formulate these a level darker. For example, if you want to tone a warm 9 use the 8 ice. My favorite way of using these is on bleach and tones using half 3.5-volume and 10- volume. This allows you to get an extra half level of lift. Do not use higher than 3.5 when toning foils though so you don’t bump the base.fiber fix intro kit.
Fiber fix is my favorite add on for all my blondes. The bond connector keeps the hair strong while bleaching. The conditioner repairs any damage while smoothing the cuticle and adding shine back to the hair. I use these on all my lighting services.Incredible No Yellow Foam
My favorite way to use the no yellow foam is to tone extensions. Shampoo your extensions first then apply the foam until you get your desired toneceann's blonding tips
Consultation
How do you decide if this client is the correct client for a bleach and tone? Here are some questions to ask...Are you able to come in for a retouch every 4-5 weeks?
Are they willing to invest in products to keep their hair healthy? Fiber fix ect.
Does their hair lift to a decent color or will it take more than on session to get it to lift?
Mixing
Levels 1-4 would not recommend bleach and toning. These levels won't lift to a nice color and this client would need a double process appointment each session.Levels 5-7 -30 vol fanola
Levels 8-12 20-30 vol (would recommend using fiber fix #1 in bleach it won't slow down the lift process.
Mix your bleach to the consistency of a light frosting. Needs to be wet enough to not dry out but dry enough to not be messy
blonde refresh at-home kit
The maintenance products and the education you will be able to give your clients will leave them happy when they leave and happy when they come back. When recommending products my goal is to always analyze the clients at home hair routine and make it better while still being practical to their budget and desired goal color.
