End The Screen-time Early
Tune off of social media or TV at least an hour before bed in order to clear your head. Putting your phone on do not disturb can also help you feel more relaxed and prevents any notifications from distracting you or waking you up.
Take A Soothing Bath
A hot bath or shower will relax not only your muscles but your mind too and will help you de-stress and feel clean right before bed.
Do Your Night-time Self Care Routine
Make an effort to execute your night-time self care routine fully. Applying masks, moisturizer, or what ever it is you enjoy during your night-time routine can help relax you. Massaging your face with skincare, or applying your hair with oils will surely help you wind down.
Make A Hot Cup Of Tea
Sooth your mind and body by drinking a hot cup of tea before bed, it will put you in a calmer state.
Clear Your Mind
When you lay your head to rest make an effort to think of positive thoughts that relax you and put your mind at ease. Although it's easier said than done, it's important to make an effort to do this step before bed. Positive affirmations, or even journaling your feelings or about your day can help.
